2 years in Corporate Life!!!
This was the day when we got a salary account with NIL balance and got a swipe card which had to be hung around our neck. I still remember how people exchanged tags with others so that the best of friends could get the same tag colours. I remember having a dal called ‘Dal Maharni’ in lunch that day… what makes the dal MAHARANI!! is beyond my level of comprehension! .. Dal maharani ? what a royal idea.next on menu : stuffed rajkumar , maharaja shake , fried senapati , baked rajkumari...poore darbaar ko paka dalo. Anyways, its been a long journey since then and truly a memorable one!!
I got a news today that I might get a laptop from next Monday onwards. The first thing that comes to my mind at the thought of a laptop is the work from home option. Sounds like your dream job..I’ve often fantasized about working from home but I realize that working from home takes discipline, a lot of it, and that most people don’t have the focus to work three feet from a bed and a TV…

My first post!!!!
Ah! The customary first post. This blog is an attempt by yours truly to chronicle my experiences in life. And don't go by the word chronicle… its going to be an interesting blog! I am not at all an avid blogger and was running a test blog until a few days ago, just to make myself accustomed to the world of blogging.
Well, it’s been one month since I left my previous job and although I've been mostly occupied with happy thoughts of the future but I must admit that I was smitten by my previous job. I’ll never forget how much I loved it at times but there were times when I was sick at the thought of it. But now, at the end, I know this - I am a better person for having worked there and I’ll never forget all it has taught me and all it has given me.
I was just trying to recollect about how many things I have left behind. Moving on has not been easy for me.
- I miss my all my friends in Bangalore, the lunch conversations, the tea conversations, conversations about gals, actual work conversations and oh yeah, conversations in general.
- I miss all the ‘leher’ sessions.
- I miss the amazing parties we’ve had at Angeethi.
- I miss watching a cricket match in the flat when practically no one else was interested in watching. : P
- I miss the long walks to the tea shop post dinner.
- I miss the mailing list where everything was discussed, spiced up with amazingly witty sarcasms.
Although, I might miss these things for the rest of my life but career wise it’s been a good move. Life goes on, that’s what I have learnt. Ironic, but true!!!
